Evaluating Christian Music Videos & Deciding Features Within My Music Video

I have chosen three Christian music videos, with a similar style of music as Only You Can Save.

The first music video is I Am Amazing by Philippa Hanna.

The main focus of this music video is the singer. She stands infront of the camera singing into it. This is known as Performace. However as the video goes on in the chorus it moves on to people outside holding up a blackboard saying about why they are amazing. This links in with the song. And helps the audience link to the people in the video. Also it adds an emotional touch to the video and quickly draws people in to watching more.
Also there are text overlays within the video to give it a more professional look and to just improve the video even more.

The second music video is My Hope Is In You by Aaron Shust

This video begins with some performance based shots, but also has a narrative within it. This is something I really like and think would work with the song I am working with.
The lens flares and lighting effects added in, in the editing process really gives it a polished look and makes the video one step better. I really like the look of the colourful effects overlayed on the video, and may try that at some point in the editing stage on my video.
The storyline is a bit different to the song, but works really well and I need to decide when producing the narrative whether to have it relating to the song or not.

The final music video is You’re Not Alone by Meredith Andrews

This video is more of a performace video, but has a feel of a narrative as its not just performing infront of the camera. The first thing I notice is the slow motion effects which works really well as it adds emotion to the picture but also makes you focus more on the lyrics in that moment. This is something I really want to do, and will focus on in my music video.
Also what I noticed  was the fades within a few shots. This added a nice smooth transition and works well with slow music. I believe this would work well within the music video I am doing and therefore will do that when editing it.
